O’Neil commented on being named grand marshal:
WWE has a longstanding commitment to supporting our great men and women in the military in every way we can. For me to have the opportunity to support the Military Bowl as the Grand Marshal this year is truly humbling. The fact that members of my family will represent both UCF and Duke as players is icing on the cake of gratitude. It’s going to be an amazing week.”
Titus O’Neil wrestled in the WWE (including time at FCW and NXT) from 2009-2020. He received the Warrior Award and hosted Wrestlemania 37. All of the charity work he does, mainly in Tampa, helped him earn the Warrior Award and other awards. His charity is the Bullard Family Foundation.
