Action Andretti is All Elite
Tonight is Wednesday and that means AEW Rampage was on. Action Andretti, who is MCW Heavyweight Champion, recently appeared on AEW Dark at a taping in DC. Tonight, AEW owner Tony Khan made the following tweet:

Andretti will defend his MCW championsip against Brian “The Mecca” Johnson in an I Quit Match at MCW Seasons’ Beatings on December 30 in Joppa, MD. Andretti won the championship in a September Triple Threat Match with then-champion Ken Dixon and Johnson. In November, at MCW Higher Ground, he successfully defended his championship against Mike “Speedball” Bailey. As he was leaving the ring and speaking to the crowd, Andretti was attacked by the Mecca who was dressed in women’s clothes.
At MCW Breakthrough earlier this month, Action Andretti successfully defended his championship against “Miami Mike” Walker. Then The Mecca came after the champion following the match and chaos ensued - setting up the I Quit match on the 30th. This Saturday, in Philadelphia, Myles Hawkins will take on Action Andretti at A Tribute to the Extreme, presented by Battleground Championship Wrestling.
Andretti also wrestled recently in a six-way match at WrestlePro 100.
