AEW Needs Seat Fillers in Baltimore Wednesday

Cheseapeake Emoloyers Insurance Arena has been posting the following message on various Facebook groups:

Hi Group! Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena is hosting AEW on April 9th and we are looking for seat fillers. We have a limited of number of spots available. If you are interested, please send us an email at chesapeake.empl.ins.arena@gmail.com. Must be 18 years or older.

It appears there are still a lot of tickets available in the upper level for this show and even a few on the floor.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has been dealing with declining ticket sales and television ratings throughout 2024 and into 2025. For example, the October 8, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite averaged just 329,000 viewers, marking the lowest viewership in the show's history and losing decisively to WWE NXT, which drew 874,000 viewers the same night. Events like Grand Slam Australia had to be moved from Brisbane's 52,500-seat Suncorp Stadium to the much smaller Brisbane Entertainment Centre due to low ticket demand, and many domestic shows have struggled to fill arenas. These attendance issues have led the company to use seat fillers at events such as the Baltimore tapings to maintain the appearance of full crowds on television.
