Ronnie Dayvault Jr. has addressed allegations regarding his involvement with Classic Pro Wrestling (CPW), setting the record straight after attempts to damage his reputation.
He was originally contacted by CPW owners Ricky Heinbaugh Sr. and Jessica Keefer on January 25, 2025, to design a poster for their April 5 event in Richmond, VA. "They were happy with the poster I delivered," Ronnie stated, noting that he even provided it at a discounted rate. Additionally, he helped them set up pre-sale ticket sales through Brown Paper Tickets.
Beyond the design work, Ricky also expressed interest in having Ronnie wrestle on the show, offering him a main event spot. Ronnie agreed and even reached out to another wrestler to set up an angle, but Ricky never followed through on contacting them. Then, on February 27, Ricky informed Ronnie that the show had been canceled, claiming the Moose Lodge wouldn’t allow professional wrestling.
"That wasn’t true—the real reason was that Classic Pro Wrestling doesn’t have an active promoter’s license from the Virginia DPOR." DMV Wrestling News has since confirmed that CPW does not have an active license, with their last one expiring in 2024.
Concerned that fans were still buying tickets for a show that wasn’t happening, Ronnie spread the word about the cancellation. However, days later, he discovered that ticket sales were still live. "I canceled them myself and told Ricky they needed to refund people since the money was in their PayPal account," he revealed. Ricky then claimed the event was being moved to a new location, though there was no confirmation of this.
CPW’s last public post on Facebook was made on March 10, 2025, stating:
"Due to venue change for April 5 show we have to change the date and venue but we will let you know within a few weeks what date and what venue."
"They had no venue and no license," Ronnie stated. "They have no idea how to run a business."
He also noted that Ricky had complained about paying for the poster, despite initially agreeing to the cost and already receiving a discount. Additionally, Jessica falsely told fans that Ronnie was responsible for issuing refunds. "That’s a complete lie—the money went straight to their PayPal," he clarified.
Ronnie had been involved with CPW in the past and discussed both his previous experiences and these new allegations on a podcast. "I’ve been through this with them before, and people need to know the truth," he stated.
"If you’re a worker, photographer, or anyone in this business, stay away from Ricky Heinbaugh, Jessica Keefer, and Classic Pro Wrestling."
