Barry Windham in ICU after heart attack

WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham was scheduled to make an appearance at Squared Circle Collectibles in Winchester, VA this past Saturday. However, they tweeted that his appearance had been cancelled due to “an urgent issue”.

Today, wrestling columnist Mike Mooneyham tweeted that Windham is in intensive care after suffering a heart attack Friday night in the Atlanta airport, presumably while traveling to Winchester.

Pro wrestling great Barry Windham is in ICU after sufferering a massive heart attack Friday night in Atlanta. Son of the late Blackjack Mulligan, Windham, 62, survived a heart attack that left him hospitalized and in rehab for several months in 2011.

After the 2011 heart attack, Windham was found on his ranch by his brother-in-law, Mike Rotunda. Our thoughts and prayers are with Barry Windham and his family.
