Breaking: Iron Sheik dead at 81
It was reported earlier today that Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, better known as The Iron Sheik, passed away. He is survived by his two children and five grandchildren.
While most Americans know him from his professional wrestling career with various companies, especially the then-WWF, he also was well known in Iran as an amateur wrestler in his younger days. He was also a bodyguard to the Shan of Iran.
Vaziri was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
In recent years he has been known for his Twitter account which was a must-follow.
