WMDT in Delaware reported earlier tonight about an accident in Laurel, DE:

A fatal car collision in Laurel left two dead Tuesday evening according to Delaware State Police

The incident occurred in the area of Laurel Road and Little Hill Road around 5:30 pm and caused an extended road closure.

Tony Khan later tweeted that Jamin Pugh, a.k.a. Briscoe, died.

Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today. Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We'll do whatever we can to support his family. Rest In Peace Jamin

Dave Meltzer reported that Jay Briscoe died in a car accident in Laurel, MD. He later corrected himself. (not a great few weeks for Meltzer).

Correction on the location of the Jay Briscoe accident, it was Laurel, Delaware, not Maryland.

The New York Post has nore reaction.

I got to see the Briscoes wrestle in 2020 at ROH Free Enterprise in Baltimore. They were a great tag team.

I just posted a video yesterday of a hardcore match from 2005 that featured the brothers wrestling against each other.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and all his friends.
