Independent professional wrestler Cole Radrick has sustained significant knee injuries, including a torn ACL and a bucket-handle meniscus tear, during a recent match at Game Changer Wrestling's "No Compadre" event. The 27-year-old athlete is scheduled to undergo surgery on Thursday and anticipates a recovery period of six to nine months.
In addition to his medical challenges, Radrick has faced employment setbacks. After informing his employer about the impending surgery, he was unexpectedly let go, resulting in the loss of his health insurance effective March 31.
To assist with medical expenses and living costs during his recovery, a GoFundMe campaign titled Support Cole Radrick's Road to Recovery has been organized by Cameron Adams. As of Monday afternoon, the fundraiser has received 99 donations totaling $7,950.
Radrick expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, “I’m overwhelmed by the love.” He remains determined to “attack this recovery with everything I’ve got” and return to wrestling as soon as possible.
Fans and supporters can contribute to the fundraiser by visiting Support Cole Radrick's Road to Recovery on GoFundMe.
