CZW Limelight XV Results
Sunday afternoon in Havre de Grace, MD, CZW presented Limelight XV at The State Theater.
The original card was updated, as Kenny King and Fred Yehi were not present.
Now on with the results.
Matt Quay defeated Brando Lee in a hard-fought match and they both shook hands after the match was over.
The next match included Ruthless Lala & Isaiah Wolf against a Dick Dynamo & Man Bun Jesus with someone in a panda suit. Wolf and Lala won the match and after it was over they had a lot to say about Fred Yehi not being there.
The next match was a 4-on-3 handicap match that featured Milk Chocolate & Slime Ballz facing off against The Rep including Kris Bishop.
In the next match, Post Game defeated The Audacity in tag team action. White Claw was being sprayed all over the ring and the fans in the front rows during and after this one.
After an intermission, Zayda came to the ring and proceeded to lay into JC Storm, who wasn’t there. A video message from Storm was shown and Sammi Chaos came to the ring to answer the open challenge. Zayda won the match.
The next match was scheduled to be The Board challenging CMD for the CZW Tag Team Championship. Instead, Jaden Valo came to the ring and said that The Board apparently had car trouble or a flat tire and that he was there to take on CMD. CMD (Boom Harden and Desean Pratt) came to the ring and they were laying down a beatdown on Valo. Eventually, Michael Mistretta ran out to assist Valo, but it was too little, too late as CMD won the match. Afterward, Mistretta confronted Valo and chewed him out, and told him he should be doing better.
The next match was a qualifying match for Best of the Best next month. The match was between Myles Hawkins and EN Bush. The match went back and forth until a wrestler wearing a Lucha mask and a hoodie came out. This person appeared to be trying to interfere against Bush but ended up missing him and laying out Hawkins instead. Bush got the pin and Matt Quay came out to tell him it wasn’t right, he had to be better, especially in a Best of the Best qualifier. The CZW Director of Operations Kee Min came out and announced that the match was going to be restarted. The winner of the match was Myles Hawkins.
A contract signing between Griffin McCoy and Eran Ashe was set to close out the show. McCoy challenged Ashe to a Texas Strap Match and as the jawing and pushing went on back and forth Ashe ended up taking a belt off someone and tried to use it on McCoy. CZW Director of Operations Kee Min attempted to intervene to get Ashe to sign the contract and Ashe put him through the table. At that point, most of the locker room ran in to try to settle things down.
The Best of the Best tournament will be at The State Theater in Havre de Grace on May 20.
Updates made to add names that weren’t originally included.
