During the July 11, 2024, episode of TNA Impact, a vignette aired teasing the return of former WWE star Enzo Amore, now performing under the name Real1.
The segment was labeled as “paid for by Fourth Rope,” a reference to Fourth Rope Promotions, the independent company where Real1 currently holds its Flyweight Championship. The vignette featured Real1 speaking in his signature style, referencing past appearances and controversies, including his unannounced appearance at Madison Square Garden during WWE Survivor Series weekend in 2018.
“You remember what I did at the Garden,” he said in the video. “Don’t think I won’t do it again.”
The phrase “forbidden door” was also included in the vignette, prompting speculation about a potential crossover or appearance at an upcoming event. TNA Slammiversary is scheduled to take place on July 20 in Montreal.
Real1 was last prominently featured on national television during his WWE run, where he held the WWE Cruiserweight Championship before being released in 2018. He later appeared for smaller promotions and has remained active on the independent circuit.
