EWA Sweet Sixteen Results from 3/28
Eastern Wrestling Alliance (EWA) presented Sweet Sixteen on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Bel Air Armory in Bel Air, Maryland. Results are below.
AJB defeated The Lemon Guy in an appetizer match to claim a vacant spot in the Sweet Sixteen tournament.
Syler Mason defeated Noah Idol, Saul Esparza, and Tyler Moore in a Fatal Four Way tournament match to advance to the finals.
Oldman Youngboy defeated Bradley Henderson, Chris Idol, and The Shade in a Fatal Four Way tournament match to advance.
Prince Mackaveli defeated Hera Napier, John Lee Kirk, and MC Walker in a Fatal Four Way tournament match to advance.
Chaz Evans defeated AJB, Eel O’Neal, and Jesse O’Ryan in a Fatal Four Way tournament match to advance after Jesse placed an unconscious Evans on Eel for the pin.
The Versace Boyzzz (Ezra Logan and Shane Stay) defeated Eagle and John Berg after interference from Vinny Versace and Tyler Moore, leading to a post-match confrontation where Jim Christian demanded to be made active for one night only, confirming he is coming out of retirement for a six-man tag match on June 13 at the Great Maryland Bash.
Cory Bush, Jarrell Jonas, and Kamen MK defeated The Gold Standard (JMD, Michael Anthony, and Stelman Maguire) in trios action, after which Michael Anthony blamed the referee and vowed further action.
TMHK defeated George LaFleur to retain the EWA Maryland Title in LaFleur’s debut singles match.
Christopher Andino defeated Odir Antonio Sorto Jr. in a No DQ Bel Air Street Fight to win the EWA Heavyweight Title after interference from Michael Anthony, who chokeslammed Odir and placed Andino on top for the pin before demanding a rematch.
Syler Mason defeated Chaz Evans, Oldman Youngboy, and Prince Mackaveli in the Sweet Sixteen finals to win the 2026 tournament after both Pure Ignorance members initially pinned Oldman Youngboy for the first elimination, Evans then eliminated Prince Mackaveli with a surprise roll-up, and Syler ultimately pinned Evans following an Airplane Spin into an AA combination, while Prince remained on the stage and refused to assist Evans afterward, leaving him behind.
