This Weekend’s Pro Wrestling

Today - Friday, August 30

• Washington, DC: New Japan Pro Wrestling returns to the District for Capital Collision 2024 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena. DMV natives Lio Rush and Trish Adora are on the card.

• Ridgefield Park, NJ: Sean Henderson Presents makes its debut at The Mecca with Can’t Rain All The Time.

• Clifton Forge, VA: Pure Pro Wrestling is bringing the action to Clifton Forge, VA, with the Downtown Showdown at Fridays in the Forge.

Saturday, August 31

• Old Bridge, NJ: Gremlin House Entertainment presents its debut wrestling event - Gotham City Slam. This event will include an EDM show and guests include WWE, ECW, and AEW wrestling legend Sabu, Celebrity Boxing's own Rich Reed, & ECW legend Pitbull Gary Wolf.

• Ridgefield Park, NJ: Shadow Wrestling Alliance will be in action with Ready or Not 2at The Mecca.

• Philadelphia, PA: The National Wrestling Alliance hosts its anniversary show, NWA 76, at the legendary 2300 Arena. Names appearing that will be familiar to our readers from the region are Spencer Slade, the Slime Balls, Azrianna Mosley, and Shawn Carlson.

• Reading, PA: Regional Championship Wrestling presents Mega Brawl, at Riverside Beneficial.

• West Newton, PA: Renegade Wrestling Alliance hosts the Renegade Rumble. Former WWE superstar Swoggle (fka Hornswoggle) will be in action.

• Fairmont, WV: Real Shoot Wrestling celebrates its 7th anniversary with a show at Fairmont State University. In addition to several championship matches, there is a “Fire Ass Four-Way Match” on the card.

• Martinsburg, WV: WDWA presents Berkeleymania Seven at the Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds. There will be several championship matches.

Sunday, September 1

• Webster, NY: Wild Zero Wrestling presents Love Will Tear Us Apart Again. Drew Gulak will be in action at the event.

• McMechen, WV: Victory Championship Wrestling presents Road to Victory at Bishop Donahue High School.
