Lineage Pro Wrestling Launches as Monster Factory Era Ends
New training program moves forward under David Goldy, Missy Sampson, and Travis Jacobs.
The Monster Factory held its final event Sunday night at the 2300 Arena, officially ending the school’s 40 year run. The announcement confirmed that the brand name is being retired, but its training program will continue under a new name, Lineage Pro Wrestling.
The Monster Factory was founded by Larry Sharpe in the 1980s and later operated by Danny Cage. Over the years, the school produced numerous graduates who went on to major promotions, including Damian Priest, QT Marshall, Steve Maclin, Bam Bam Bigelow, the Godfather, Matt Riddle, and Notorious Mimi.
According to the statement, Lineage Pro Wrestling will be led by owner and head coach David Goldy, with coaches Missy Sampson and Travis Jacobs. The group plans to continue the same training approach used at the Monster Factory.
Sunday’s event marked the end of the Monster Factory name but the continuation of its program under the new Lineage Pro Wrestling banner.
