Masha Slamovich booked for Maryland event after abuse allegations
Fan Jam appearance set for March 1
Masha Slamovich is scheduled to appear at Fan Jam 2026, presented by MCW Pro Wrestling and Adrenaline Championship Wrestling, with her appearance sponsored by Excitement South Entertainment, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the RJ Meyer Arena in Joppa, Maryland.
The appearance appears to mark Slamovich’s first announced public wrestling-related engagement since abuse allegations involving her became public in September 2025. At the time, screenshots and images circulated online, shared by a friend of independent wrestler Akira, who accused Slamovich of physical and emotional abuse. In one exchange included in the screenshots, Akira wrote, “You hit me. You’re wrong,” to which Slamovich replied, “You cursed at me that’s what got you hit.”
The allegations centered on claims of repeated physical and emotional abuse during the relationship. Reporting described screenshots of private message exchanges reflecting ongoing conflict and fear, as well as photographs that were described as showing visible injuries, including bruising and scratch marks, which were presented as evidence of physical abuse. Several outlets noted that the volume of screenshots and images suggested a pattern rather than an isolated incident, though most publications declined to reproduce the full files or images due to their sensitive nature.
Slamovich later addressed the situation in a public statement, writing, “Up until the beginning of this year, I was in a toxic and mutually destructive relationship,” and adding, “This will be my only statement on the matter.” Akira also posted publicly during the same period, writing, “I woke up to this and people asking me if I was okay. Kinda wanna throw up, kinda want to go away forever.”
Following the allegations, TNA Wrestling said it had opened an internal investigation and removed Slamovich from scheduled appearances and promotional materials. Jersey Championship Wrestling also stripped Slamovich of the JCW World Championship, vacating the title.
MCW has previously continued to book performers after serious allegations became public, including Patrick Clark, who was released by WWE in 2020 following allegations of sexual misconduct and continues to wrestle for the promotion.
Kurt Angle is scheduled to headline Fan Jam, with Mickie James also announced.
