Matt Riddle and Elijah at Goliathcon

GoliathCon has announced its Saturday Main Event, featuring a highly anticipated matchup between former WWE superstars Matt Riddle and Elijah, formerly known as Elias. In this marquee bout, Riddle, known as the

King of Bros, will attempt to withstand the challenge of Elijah in what is expected to be an intense contest for wrestling fans. The event will feature a total of seven matches as part of the weekend lineup.

GoliathCon 2025 is scheduled for Feb. 22-23 at the CNY Family Sports Center in Syracuse, New York. The convention will celebrate comics, cosplay and professional wrestling, drawing fans from across the region. In addition to live wrestling, the event will feature special guests, including former WWE stars Riddle and Elijah, Marvel artist John Beatty and several voice actors.

The convention will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, with the live wrestling event scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets start at $20 for a two-day pass, and children 10 and under will receive free entry to the comic convention.

GoliathCon will offer a range of attractions for attendees. More than 100 vendors and exhibitors will be present, showcasing collectibles, artwork and merchandise. Cosplay contests will be held for both children and adults, giving fans an opportunity to display their creativity. The artist alley will feature illustrators and creators, offering a chance to meet and purchase exclusive work.

For gaming enthusiasts, the convention will include free-play gaming areas, as well as tabletop and trading card game tournaments. Comic book collectors will have access to a variety of vendors. Live music performances will be included in the entertainment lineup, adding to the festival atmosphere. Additionally, GoliathCon will feature charity raffles and an auction, allowing attendees to win unique items while supporting a good cause.
