MATW Sets Aug. 1, 2026 Chuck Coates Memorial Tag Tournament

Mid-Atlantic Territory Wrestling announced the 1st Annual Chuck Coates Memorial Tag Team Tournament, scheduled for August 1, 2026, at the Augusta Expo Center.

The event is being held with the approval of Coates’ wife, Cynthia. A Legends Convention is planned during the day, followed that evening by a tag team tournament featuring 12 teams from across the country.

Ax and Smash of Demolition have been confirmed as the first special guests. Additional legends and tournament participants will be announced at a later date.
