This is Memorial Day Weekend, and before getting to the wrestling, it is worth pausing to remember what the holiday is for. Memorial Day is a time to honor the men and women who died while serving in the United States military. Their sacrifice made weekends like this possible, and they deserve to be remembered.
Across the region, the holiday weekend brings a busy lineup of pro wrestling events running Friday through Monday in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia before AEW follows with a Wednesday night stop in Philadelphia.
Friday night includes SPO in Mount Holly, 880 Wrestling in Pittsburgh, FLEX Wrestling in Troy, Appalachian Championship Wrestling in Gauley Bridge, and Micro Wrestling Federation in Ranson.
Saturday is the busiest day of the weekend, with Voltage Wrestling in Hagerstown, ETU Wrestling in Ridgefield Park, Titan Championship Wrestling in Toms River, Mid Atlantic Territory Wrestling at the Shenandoah Memorial Day Festival, WDWA in Inwood, and additional events in Pennsylvania.
Sunday brings AEW Double or Nothing to Queens, along with Super Strong Pro and Locked Target Wrestling in New Jersey and Victory Championship Wrestling in McMechen, West Virginia.
The holiday itself includes ECWA’s Memorial Day Bash, which will stream live for free on Monday afternoon.
