Myles Hawkins Writes a Letter to MCW Fans
MCW Rage TV Champion Myles Hawkins has written a letter to MCW fans and the general public and posted it on social media. His letter is written in an apparent attempt to explain his behavior at last month’s Shamrock Cup event.
Alex Divine pinned Hawkins. After Hawkins refused to shake hands with Divine, it appeared he was leaving the ring, but he turned around and started beating up Divine. Divine was weakened by the beating to the point that LSG got an easy pin to eliminate him. Look for Hawkins and Divine to be in a program together in the future.
Here’s his letter:
Dear Fans and General Public,
It has come to my attention that some of you, in your limited capacity for understanding, took offense at my recent actions at MCW’s Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup. I understand that not everyone operates on the same frequency as I do—after all, my genius can be a lot to handle.
I’m genuinely sorry that my brilliance, which is often too advanced for the average mind, might have been misconstrued. Alex Divine is a quality competitor, and we will all move past his oversight together. I get it; it’s hard when you’re not on the same intellectual level as me. I guess some people just don’t have the capacity to appreciate the depth and nuance of what I’m doing for this company.
But, let’s be honest: you wouldn’t get it even if I explained it. My thoughts and actions are on a different plane, and if you’re feeling hurt or confused, well, that’s more of a reflection of your own limitations than anything I did.
In any case, I’ll try to simplify my messages going forward. I wouldn’t want my groundbreaking ideas, matches, and overall aura to be too much for you to handle. I trust this apology will suffice, though I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you still don’t get it.
Yours in unparalleled greatness,
Myles Hawkins
