National Wrestling Promotions Set Summer Regional Dates
WWE, AEW, TNA, NWA, and MLW have regional dates set.
National wrestling promotions are loading up the region this summer, with AEW, MLW, WWE, TNA and the NWA all scheduled to run shows in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
The schedule includes pay-per-view events, television tapings, arena shows and anniversary cards in New York City, Philadelphia, Richmond, Baltimore, Atlantic City, Albany, Allentown, Fairfax, Norfolk and Buffalo.
AEW starts the run this weekend with Double or Nothing on Sunday, May 24, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York City. The show brings one of the company’s signature events to the regional calendar before AEW continues to Philadelphia and Richmond.
AEW Dynamite and Collision are scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. The company also has a summer Dynamite date set for Wednesday, June 3, at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia.
MLW follows with three straight nights in June, starting with a Fusion TV taping at Melrose Ballroom in New York City on Thursday, June 11. The promotion then heads to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia for Summer of the Beasts on Friday, June 12, followed by another Fusion TV taping at the same venue on Saturday, June 13.
WWE returns to Baltimore on Monday, June 15, with Monday Night RAW at CFG Bank Arena. Later in the month, WWE will run Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Monday, June 29.
TNA will also be in the region in July, with iMPACT! tapings scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, and Thursday, July 2, at Broadview Center in Albany, New York. The company returns to Pennsylvania later in the month for two more iMPACT! tapings at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31.
WWE’s July schedule includes a Summer Tour stop at PPL Center in Allentown on Thursday, July 16, followed by Friday Night SmackDown at MVP Arena in Albany on Friday, July 17. The company will also bring Saturday Night’s Main Event to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, July 18.
The NWA will bring its 78th Anniversary Show to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 25. NWA 78 continues the National Wrestling Alliance’s long anniversary tradition at one of the most recognizable wrestling venues in the country.
WWE has two Virginia dates set for August, with the Summer Tour coming to EagleBank Arena in Fairfax on Thursday, August 6, and Monday Night RAW scheduled for Scope Arena in Norfolk on Monday, August 10.
AEW will return to Maryland on Wednesday, August 12, with Dynamite at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore. WWE closes out the current regional list with Monday Night RAW at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Monday, August 17.
