New Japan Pro Wrestling presented Capital Collision in Washington, DC, on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. My quick results are below. To see a more in-depth report, see what Corey Michael wrote at The Wrestling Observer.
Trish Adora got a nice pop from her hometown crowd as she came to the ring for her pre-show match. In my estimation, DMV native Lio Rush had the loudest sustained pop, even more than Mercedes Mone in the main event. She had a large number of fans, but her opponent, Momo Watanabe, also had a large number of fans.
Overall, it was an enjoyable show. Thanks to New Japan Pro Wrestling for the hospitality.
