NWA Celebrates 78th Anniversary Saturday in Philly
The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) presents NWA 78 on Saturday, July 25, at the 2300 Arena, 2300 S. Swanson St., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The bell time is 7 p.m. Tickets are available online.
The event celebrates the National Wrestling Alliance’s 78th anniversary with championship matches, special appearances and several stipulation matches.
Scheduled to appear are Heath, NWA World Women’s Champion “La Princesa” Tiffany Nieves with Ms. Starr and Gretta, NWA World Tag Team Champions The Country Gentlemen with Joe Cazana, Aron Stevens and the Federation of Champions, Natalia Markova, Thom Latimer, Bryan Idol, Talos, Effy, Pretty Boy Smooth with Pastor C-Lo, Big Strong Mims, The Pope and Hammerstone.
Announced matches include:
NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason defends against Carson Drake.
WWE Superstar Nattie Neidhart competes against NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions Kenzie Paige and Kylie Paige in a three-way match.
NWA World Tag Team Champions The Country Gentlemen defend against BFT.
Heath, Pretty Boy Smooth, Effy, Kratos and Talos compete in a five-way match to determine the No. 1 contender for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
Daisy Kill takes on Eric Smalls in a dog collar match.
Colby Corino meets Kerry Morton.
The Royal Court battles the Federation of Champions in a Knights of the Round Table tables match.
