Pennsylvania Championship Wrestling Alliance has cut ties with Roy “Slick” Troutman after the former PCWA wrestler was charged with possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material.
In an official statement, PCWA said Troutman had been terminated and blacklisted from the promotion.
“He is no longer welcome,” PCWA said.
The statement referred to allegations against Troutman and said he had been charged, but it did not identify the charges. PCWA said it does not tolerate or condone the alleged conduct and apologized to fans for any confusion.
Roy Charles Troutman, 50, of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, was arrested September 3, 2026, following an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crimes Unit.
Troutman faces 15 felony charges. They include five counts of disseminating photographs or films of child sex acts and five counts of possessing child sexual abuse material. He also faces five counts of criminal use of a communication facility.
Investigators began looking into Troutman after receiving 10 CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on August 5, 2026, according to a report from NorthcentralPA.
Investigators used Troutman’s phone and internet records to connect him to 423 files that were allegedly uploaded or viewed. The files included images and videos depicting children as young as 7 engaged in sexual acts with adults, according to court documents cited in the report.
Police executed a search warrant at Troutman’s Sunbury apartment on September 3, 2026. Troutman initially denied knowing about the uploads. After investigators found child sexual abuse material on his phone, Troutman acknowledged having the images but said he believed they were generated by artificial intelligence, according to the affidavit.
The court docket shows that Troutman was unable to post $250,000 bail and was committed to the Northumberland County Jail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2026, before Magisterial District Judge Michael I. Diehl.
Troutman was listed as a lifetime offender on Pennsylvania’s sexual offender registry before his involvement with PCWA. His registry information was last updated July 27, 2026.
Lebanon County court records show that Troutman pleaded guilty on April 5, 2006, to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person younger than 16, corruption of minors, and indecent assault of a person younger than 16.
He was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. He received a concurrent sentence of six months to two years for corruption of minors. The indecent-assault charge merged for sentencing.
It is unclear whether PCWA knew about Troutman’s prior conviction or lifetime-registration status before he became involved with the promotion.
The charges are allegations, and Troutman is presumed innocent unless and until proved guilty.
