"Queen of the Ring" is an upcoming biographical sports drama film chronicling the life of pioneering professional wrestler Mildred Burke. Set for theatrical release on March 7, 2025, the film stars Emily Bett Rickards as Burke, a single mother who defied societal norms to become the first million-dollar female athlete in history.
Directed and written by Ash Avildsen, the movie is adapted from Jeff Leen's 2009 biography, *The Queen of the Ring: Sex, Muscles, Diamonds, and the Making of an American Legend.* The cast includes Josh Lucas as Billy Wolfe, Burke's trainer and husband; Walton Goggins as wrestling promoter Jack Pfefer; Tyler Posey as G.
