Night 2 of Game Changer Wrestling’s Homecoming Weekend took place on Sunday, August 25, at the Showboat in Atlantic City, NJ. The results are as follows:
Jack Cartwheel defeated Griffin McCoy in the opening match.
Tony Deppen was defeated by Galeno del Mal.
Newly crowned undisputed GCW Champion Mance Warner addressed the crowd.
Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Zilla Fatu.
Charles Mason lost to Fuego del Sol. During the match, Parrow interfered, prompting Sam Stackhouse to come in for the save, splashing Parrow through a table. Richard Holiday attempted to help Mason by sliding a chair into the ring, but Fuego del Sol used it on Mason to secure the pin. After the match, Mason confronted Holiday, leading to Parrow choke-slamming Mason. Holiday and Parrow then attacked Mason with a steel chair. Holiday held up a bag and called for police officers, who arrested Mason for possession of a murder weapon. Mason smiled as he was led away.
John Wayne Murdoch defeated Alec Price.
Masha Slamovich defended the JCW World Championship against Megan Bayne. Steph Delander distracted Bayne, allowing Slamovich to lock in a submission hold, winning by TKO.
Violence is Forever defended the GCW Tag Team Championships against Los Macizos. The fight began as both teams made their way to the ring, with Violence is Forever retaining the titles. After the match, Miedo Extremo attacked his partner Ciclope.
In a 6-person tag team deathmatch, the British Guys (Lou Nixon, Drew Parker, Big F’n Joe) faced off against the American Guys (Matt Tremont, Brandon Kirk, Hoodfoot). American Guys get the win.
In an 8-man tag team match, the Bob Squad (Bobby Flaco, Brayden Toon, Mr. Danger, and Hunter Drake) faced off against Thrusssy (Dark Sheik, 1 Called Manders, Sawyer Wreck, and Effy). Thrussy gets the win. Post-match, Shane Mercer came in and started beating up members of the Bob Squad. He got Flaco and Mr. Danger on the top rope and executed a moonsault and battery.
In the main event, Matt Cardona and Jimmy Lloyd faced Matt Hardy and Joey Janela. Steph Delander interfered, but Megan Bayne chased her off with a chair until Cardona countered with a chair shot of his own. Janela pursued Delander away from ringside.
The match continued with all four men brawling in the ring, eventually leaving them all laid out. Hardy and Janela sandwiched Cardona and Lloyd between two ladders, then set up tables and ladders both inside and outside the ring. After placing Cardona and Lloyd on the tables, Hardy and Janela climbed the ladders and put them through the tables, but couldn’t secure the pin.
Hardy and Janela then set up doors in the ring but were double-speared through them by Cardona and Lloyd, who both kicked out. Cardona hit Radio Silence on Hardy and went for the pin, but Janela saved him by leaping onto Cardona with a ladder. As Hardy prepared to strike Cardona with light tubes, Lloyd delivered a low blow to Hardy. In the chaos, Cardona accidentally hit Lloyd with the light tubes. Janela then put Lloyd through a table inside the ring. Hardy finished Cardona with a shot from the light tubes and pinned him for the win.
