Sami Zayn Deletes Post After Antisemitism Accusations

On April 24, 2025, WWE star Sami Zayn deleted a controversial social media post after a press inquiry from Israel Hayom. The deletion came after Jewish organizations and activists accused Zayn of engaging with online content they described as antisemitic and anti-Zionist.

The specific post that was removed had been criticized for allegedly promoting antisemitic narratives. Critics also pointed to previous examples where Zayn had interacted with material comparing Israeli government actions to those of Nazi Germany and expressing support for groups seen as hostile to Israel. Sami Zayn, whose real name is Rami Sebei, was born in Laval, Quebec, to Syrian immigrant parents and has been a featured performer in WWE for several years.
