Saturday: ACW's Inaugural Event at Poughkeepsie Rumble

This Saturday, January 4, 2025, history will be made as The Poughkeepsie Rumble marks Awesome Championship Wrestling’s inaugural event at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. Tickets are available online.

The evening kicks off at 5:30 PM with a Fan Fest, featuring autographs and photo opportunities with the stars of ACW, as well as a special appearance by Dave LaGreca of Busted Open. (Event ticket required for entry.) The main show begins at 7:30 PM.

The match card features these matches:

• The TNA World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as champion Nic Nemeth takes on Matt Riddle.

• The NWA World Heavyweight Championship will also be defended as champion Thom Latimer faces Tommy Dreamer.

• In the women’s division, Kelly Madan will take on Tiara James.

• Tag team action includes a tables match featuring The NOW (Vik Dalishus and Hale Collins) against Sent2Slaughter (Danny Maff and Shawn Donovan).

• Anthony Greene will square off against Crowbar in singles action.

• The NWA Jr. Heavyweight Championship will be decided in a three-way dance, with champion Alex Taylor defending against GKM and Real1 (formerly known as Enzo Amore).

• The night will conclude with the main event, a 20-Man Over-the-Top Rope Poughkeepsie Rumble. Participants will enter every minute, with the final two competitors battling to determine the inaugural ACW Heavyweight Champion.
