Sheriff’s Department: Adam Ugly Assault Charges Stem from Domestic Incident
Adam Wendell Lee, 41, of Chestertown, Maryland – known professionally as Adam Ugly – remains under investigation following his August 13, 2025 arrest by the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Department.
A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department told DMV Wrestling News, “We can confirm that on 08/13 our office was dispatched to a Queen Anne's County residence, and that the charges were related to a domestic incident involving someone known to Mr. Lee.” Officials added that the matter is an open investigation and, due to the nature of the incident and to protect the privacy of the victim, they are unable to release the incident report or provide additional details at this time.
Lee was charged with one felony count of first-degree assault and one misdemeanor count of second-degree assault. He appeared at a bail review hearing on August 14 before Judge Frank M. Kratovil Jr. and was released on his own recognizance under pre-trial supervision. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 11, 2025.
As previously reported, Lee is also facing a probation violation stemming from his 2023 Peeping Tom conviction in Queen Anne’s County. That hearing is scheduled for October 15, 2025. He is presumed innocent of the current charges unless and until proven guilty in court.
