SiriusXM Shifts to All-Wrestling Format on Channel 156
New “Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7” channel replaces Fight Nation, dropping MMA and boxing
SiriusXM has launched a 24/7 professional wrestling radio channel, replacing Fight Nation on Channel 156 with a new offering called Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7. The new channel debuted July 1 and features daily programming focused exclusively on professional wrestling across multiple promotions.
Channel 156 was previously home to Fight Nation, which featured a mix of combat sports content, including coverage of mixed martial arts, boxing, and pro wrestling. Wrestling-focused programs such as Busted Open and Busted Open After Dark, which had been part of the Fight Nation lineup, will continue as key parts of the new channel.
“Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 is a dream come true,” Busted Open host Dave LaGreca said in the company’s announcement. “I couldn’t be more proud of the team that we have assembled on this channel. I promise our loyal fans, ‘The Nation,’ the best coverage of Pro Wrestling in the world,” according to Awful Announcing.
LaGreca, who signed a multiyear extension with SiriusXM, continues to host Busted Open each weekday from 9 a.m. to noon Eastern alongside rotating co-hosts Bully Ray, Mark Henry, and Tommy Dreamer.
Additional weekday programming includes Notsam Wrestling Live with Sam Roberts (Monday through Thursday, noon to 2 p.m. ET), Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg (Fridays at noon), and Off the Ropes hosted by Jonathan Coachman with analysts including Nic Nemeth and Thunder Rosa.
The new channel also features The Hart Beat hosted by WWE’s Natalya, with weekly appearances by Matt Cardona. Busted Open After Dark will now air five nights a week with listener call-ins and post-show discussion.
“This channel is the destination for all fans of professional wrestling, regardless of the promotions they follow,” said Jared Fox, SiriusXM’s senior vice president of sports programming. “Our team lives and breathes wrestling and that passion will be on display 24/7.”
Details of the new channel and full programming slate were reported by Awful Announcing.
