Steven Fuerte, Jordan Blade Appear on AEW Dynamite in Fairfax

Two wrestlers from the regional independent scene appeared on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia, as Steven Fuerte and Jordan Blade were part of the lineup.
Fuerte competed in singles action against Rush, while Blade teamed with Emily Jaye to face The Brawling Birds. Fuerte has worked regularly across the Mid-Atlantic in recent years, including runs with World Domination Wrestling Alliance and MCW Pro Wrestling, along with appearances for promotions such as Premier Wrestling Federation, Voltage Wrestling, and Combat Zone Wrestling, and he previously held the Voltage Lightning Championship. Blade has built an extensive independent résumé, with appearances across promotions including Game Changer Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, Enjoy Wrestling, Paradigm Pro Wrestling, and West Coast Pro Wrestling, among others, in addition to prior AEW appearances. Her list of championships includes the CFU Undisputed Championship, UEW Women’s Championship, PWM Women’s Championship, PPW Super Middleweight Championship, and multiple tag team titles across several promotions.
Rush of La Facción Ingobernable defeated Steven Fuerte, taking control immediately after Fuerte offered a handshake at the opening bell. Rush responded with a strike, then continued the attack on the outside near the barricade before bringing Fuerte back into the ring. He maintained the advantage in the corner as the crowd reacted with chants, and finished the match with Bull’s Horns for a quick pinfall victory.
The Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, defeated Emily Jaye and Jordan Blade after controlling the match with consistent double-team offense. Hayter, competing for the first time since Dynasty, opened aggressively, striking Blade and knocking Jaye off the apron. Frequent tags and tandem attacks kept Blade isolated, while Jaye’s attempts to intervene were quickly stopped. The finish came when Hayter and Windsor delivered their Two Birds, One Stone double-team move to Blade for the pinfall.
