John Cena wrestles on Monday Night Raw for the final time tonight, and WWE is putting the spotlight squarely on his last match from Madison Square Garden. The company confirmed last week that Cena will compete on Raw for the final time, and the “Last Time Is Now” tournament continues tonight to determine who gets the honor of facing him in the main event.
Gunther vs. Je’Von Evans is set for one tournament match, while Solo Sikoa will meet a mystery opponent in the other. WWE has kept the identity of Sikoa’s opponent quiet, which has only fueled speculation with an MSG crowd expecting something big. By the end of the night, WWE plans to have Cena’s last opponent locked in.
Becky Lynch will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. Lynch has been the centerpiece of the division, but Dupri has been gaining traction and steps into her biggest singles match to date. The result could determine the direction of the title picture going into winter.
