Results from This Weekend
There were several shows in the region this weekend. I attended the Pay Your Dues Pro Wrestling Show Friday night and had a great time. I recommend visiting them when you can.
As you probably know, Toby Keith passed away this past week. I wrote about him being a big wrestling fan and making appearances on WWE and TNA programming. I also wrote about his attempt to help buy TNA. Click here for the story.
Last month, I wrote about the death of former WCW wrestler Harold “Ice Train” Hogue.
More recently, I learned from my friend John Daly that Ice Train’s family is in need since his passing.
As Daly writes:
Hogue, who worked as bodybuilder-trainer after leaving wrestling, was his family’s rock and their main provider. He was a tremendous husband, father, and friend, according to Page, who helped Hogue break into the wrestling business decades ago.
Page has set up a GoFundMe account for the family to help them through this difficult time. If you’d like to learn more about Hogue, and what kind of man he was, please watch the below video. And if you have the means and desire to contribute to the fund, you can do so here.
Here’s the video:
