Kris Kristofferson, the renowned American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, passed away on September 29, 2024. He was the father of professional wrestler Jody Kristofferson, also known as Garrett Dylan.
Garrett Dylan made his WWE debut under the ring name Jody Reese in 2010 and later joined Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in 2012, where he adopted the name Garrett Dylan. Throughout his career, Dylan wrestled for various promotions, including All Pro Wrestling, Sacramento Wrestling Federation, and Vendetta Pro Wrestling. He spent three years in WWE’s developmental system, transitioning from FCW to NXT, before his release in 2014.
Kris Kristofferson, born June 22, 1936, is best known for his contributions to country music and the outlaw country movement. His most famous songs include "Me and Bobby McGee," "Help Me Make It Through the Night," and "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down." In addition to his music career, he appeared in films like *A Star Is Born* (1976), for which he won a Golden Globe, and *Blade* (1998). He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and earned numerous awards for his work in both music and film.
