Must-See Videos
This year was an exciting one for DMV Wrestling News!
I had the privilege of attending shows across Maryland, DC, West Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. This year marked my first visits to companies such as WDWA, Pay Your Dues, and FWA. I also revisited familiar promotions like MATW, MCW, EWA, VCW, CZW, and ACW. A highlight was attending a WrestleMania weekend show in New Jersey, featuring 1CW, Three Legacies, and Atlantic All-Star Wrestling.
One of the most memorable experiences of the year was receiving media credentials for major events. I attended New Japan’s Capital Collision in DC and, the very next night, covered NWA 76 as credentialed media at the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Our podcast, Belts, Bumps, & Barbed Wire, continued this year with an irregular schedule that we’re working to refine. The most popular episode of the year was a heartfelt tribute to Brandon Holman. Looking ahead, I’ve secured tentative commitments from several exciting guests for 2025.
In 2025, I plan to expand my coverage to Delaware shows and more Virginia promotions, including RVA, BREW, and Next Up. In Maryland, I aim to finally attend events hosted by AWA and F1ght Club.
Another milestone this year was the launch of an online shop for DMV Wrestling News merchandise. I’m excited to expand the store’s offerings in the coming year.
Sadly, 2024 saw the loss of many beloved wrestlers, both current and retired. I’ll be sharing a tribute to honor their memories before the year ends.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support of DMV Wrestling News throughout 2024. It’s incredibly humbling to have fans, wrestlers, and promoters come up at shows to express their appreciation, share a hug, or ask for a sticker to display on their suitcase or water bottle.
Wishing everyone a joyful close to 2024 and a prosperous, healthy 2025!
