Indy Wrestling

  • This past weekend was a huge weekend for wrestling in Maryland.

  • The weekend kicked off Friday night with MCW Anniversary in Joppa. Read the complete results here.

  • Saturday, MCW kicked off its Winter Blast tour in Hollywood.

  • Sunday, Adrenaline Championship Wrestling hosted Chaos in Carroll County in Westminster following Maryland Celebfest 6.

  • Also Sunday, Combat Zone Wrestling held Limelight 13 at The State Theater in Havre de Grace.

Wrestlers

  • Last Friday, a web series called The Miasma premiered. It is the creation of Zakk Ramses.

  • Over the weekend, Ric Flair had dinner at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Baltimore two nights while he was in town for Baltimore Celebfest 6 in Westminster.

Other News

  • Baltimore Celebfest 6 took place in Westminster, MD this weekend and was a great event. IPO Marketing Group has already announced that Baltimore Celebfest 7 will be in Westminster on May 23.

Mur Mur, the first deaf wrestler at MCW, debuted this weekend at Winter Blast.

Mur Mur chose his ring name based on the villain Murmur from The Arrow. His mask features the “I love you” sign from sign language. He lost his hearing at the age of 2 and has cochlear implants.

MCW Backstage Pass featured an interview with Mur Mur.
