Indy News
Last night, CZW held their Limelight 11 event in Havre de Grace, MD.
Also yesterday, Pro Wrestling Vibe held their Prime Time Vibes event in Washington, DC.
Saturday night, MCW Higher Ground took place in Joppa, MD. I attended and wrote a report with all the results.
SWO presented Rowdy in Red Lion in Red Lion, PA Saturday night as well.
Wrestlers
Jerry “The King” Lawler made an appearance at Squared Circle Collectibles in Winchester, VA Sunday afternoon.
Lio Rush, Velvet Sky, Jordan Oliver, Speedball Mike Bailey, Ace Austin, and The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) were in attendance at the Maryland Toy Expo Saturday.
Baltimore Celebfest 6 Super Show announced several other wrestlers, and some baseball players, this week. I will have more on that in the coming days.
Other News
Lamar Jackson, along with Rick Ross, sat in the front row at AEW Dynamite Wednesday night and later went backstage to mingle with the talent.
Missy Hyatt was also backstage at AEW Dynamite and tweeted a picture of herself with Colt Cabana and a comment that threw shade at CM Punk which she later deleted. Earlier in the week, Hyatt posted a provocative picture of herself wearing a Nazi uniform featuring a SS cap.
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the card for their November 20 Historic X-over event and one of the matches is the Japanese debut of Lio Rush with that promotion. He has previously wrestled events in the U.S. for NJPW.
Rush, a native of Prince George’s County, MD and a MCW alum, will join the Chaos team along with Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI, and Yoh as they take on the House of Torture team that includes EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO, and Dick Togo.
In addition to NJPW, Lio Rush has recently wrestled for MLW in Philadelphia and this weekend at MCW in Maryland.
