Lex Luger addressed his absence from Night One of WrestleMania 41, explaining that although he was in Las Vegas for the weekend and took part in the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony the night before, he ultimately chose not to attend Saturday’s event due to exhaustion.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Luger shared that the demands of the Hall of Fame appearance left him feeling drained. “I was supposed to be there Saturday night,” he said. “I was there Friday night, but I kind of hit the wall after the Hall of Fame. I just didn't have it in me. I needed to rest.”
The Hall of Fame inductee, who has faced significant health challenges since a spinal stroke in 2007, said he felt honored to be part of the weekend but knew he had to prioritize his well-being.
WrestleMania 41 took place April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and featured appearances from numerous WWE legends. Fans noticed Luger’s absence on Saturday, which he has now clarified.
