Magnum T.A.
Terry Wayne Allen, born on June 11, 1959, is a retired American professional wrestler known by his ring name, Magnum T. A. He made a significant impact in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) during the 1980s. Allen began his wrestling career in 1981, competing across various NWA territories. He gained fame in Mid-South Wrestling with his "American Heart Throb" persona, Magnum T. A., inspired by actor Tom Selleck's role in *Magnum, P.I.* Magnum held the North American Heavyweight Championship in Mid-South Wrestling. In 1984, he joined Jim Crockett Promotions and won the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship by defeating Wahoo McDaniel. He successfully defended this title against Kamala and had notable feuds with the Four Horsemen, particularly Tully Blanchard, and even challenged Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Tragically, a car crash in 1986 ended his promising career prematurely. Photo ops with Magnum T.A. can be purchased online.
