This Weekend: Meet the Nasty Boys in Oaks, PA

This Saturday and Sunday, you can meet the legendary tag team The Nasty Boys at RetroCon 2024. The event takes place at the Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, in the Greater Philadelphia area. RetroCon will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Since convention pre-registration has already ended, tickets are only available at the door, with single-day tickets for either day costing $20.

The Nasty Boys, consisting of Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags, were a professional wrestling tag team known for their hardcore, brawling style and distinctive "street look." Active from the mid-1980s through the 1990s, they were characterized by their anti-social punk personas, complete with graffiti-sprayed T-shirts, chain-adorned leather trench coats, and unique mullet-hawk haircuts. They achieved significant success in various wrestling promotions, including the WWF (now WWE) and WCW, where they won multiple tag team championships. Their rough and unpredictable in-ring tactics made them a memorable and formidable team in the world of professional wrestling.
