This Weekend: Meet Wrestlers at Fairfax Comic Con

Fairfax Comic Con will be held at the Dulles Expo Center, located at 4320 Chantilly Shopping Center in Chantilly, VA. The event will take place on August 17-18, 2024. On Saturday, it will run from 11 AM to 5 PM, with VIP entry starting at 10 AM. On Sunday, the hours are 11 AM to 4 PM. Admission tickets are available online.

Special guests include AEW star Willow Nightingale, who will only be there on Saturday, and the legendary tag team Demolition (Ax & Smash).

Willow Nightingale, whose real name is Danielle Paultre, is an American professional wrestler. She made her debut in 2015 and has competed in independent promotions like Shimmer and Ring of Honor. In 2021, she joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where she became a former AEW TBS Champion.

Demolition was an American professional wrestling tag team most prominent during the late 1980s and early 1990s in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). The team consisted of Ax (Bill Eadie), Smash (Barry Darsow), and later Crush (Brian Adams). In the WWF, Demolition held the WWF World Tag Team Championship three times, and their combined reigns totaled 698 days. Their first title reign is the fourth longest in WWE history for any tag team championship. They wore studded black leather outfits, leather-covered hockey masks, and distinctive face paint, creating a memorable and imposing presence in the ring.
