Thursday: See Becky Lynch in DC
Tickets are still available for Becky Lynch’s event promoting her new autobiography this Thursday at Sixth & I in DC. Lynch will be in conversation with Lauren Ober. Doors open at 6 and the event starts at 7 p.m. Sixth & I is located at 600 I Street NW in Washington, DC. Tickets for both virtual and in-person access are available online and autographed books are available with either option. If you attend in person you will get to meet Becky Lynch.
Rebecca Quin, known by her ring name Becky Lynch, was born in 1987 in Limerick, Ireland. She is an Irish-American professional wrestler signed to WWE, where she performs on the Raw brand. Lynch is one of WWE’s most recognizable and highest-paid wrestlers. She began training as a professional wrestler in 2002 and made her in-ring debut under the ring name Rebecca Knox. After a severe head injury in 2006, she returned to wrestling in 2012 and signed a contract with WWE in 20131. She became the inaugural SmackDown Women’s Champion at Backlash 2016 and has held the title four times. In 2019, she won a Royal Rumble match, and at Wrestlemania 35 won both the Raw Women’s Championship and Smackdown Women’s Championship. She set the record for the longest reign as Raw Women’s Champion at 399 days. In 2023, she became WWE’s Sixth Women’s Grand Slam Champion.
