Tonight: CCW wrestlers on AEW Dark Elevation

Willow Nightingale vs. Vertvixen

Willow Nightingale will face Vertvixen tonight on the latest episode of AEW Dark Elevation which premieres on the AEW YouTube channel at 7 p.m. EST.

Both wrestlers work at Capital Championship Wrestling (CCW) which often holds events in Houston, DE as doubleheaders with 1CW Pro Wrestling. I have been covering CCW wrestlers and events for the past couple of months but I wanted to give some more background on the company.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated published an article in February 2022 on CCW:

The all-women promotion, owned by Marchello Squirewell, was founded in 2021. However, within a short amount of time, CCW has captured the attention of wrestling fans seeking to satiate their hunger for more women’s wrestling matches. As a Black man, Marchello’s proprietorship of CCW holds major significance, and having CCW Battleground take place during Black History Month is equally noteworthy.
