Great 8s Memorabilia reports that their client Velvet Sky will be making her next trip to Baltimore on November 5 for the Maryland Toy Expo at the State Fairgrounds in Timonium, and also that evening for MCW Higher Ground in Joppa, MD.

Her real name is Jamie Lynn Szantyr and she has had the Velvet Sky ring name since she was in TNA. Her original ring name was Talia Madison (after being Miss Talia and Talia Doll) and she started working on the indy circuit as a valet and then a wrestler.

She made a few appearances on WWE programming while still wrestling on the indy circuit. Indy promotions she wrestled in included World Extreme Wrestling (WXW) and Women’s Extreme Wrestling (WEW). She also wrestled in Ring of Honor and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide as well as various other independent promotions.

Velvet Sky is most known for her time in TNA in the Knockouts Division as part of The Beautiful people, which at various times also included Angelina Love, Madison Rayne, and Lacey Von Erich. After her retirement from the ring, she joined the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) as a color commentator in 2021 and has worked there ever since.

Championships that she has held include: Defiant Pro Wrestling (DPW) Women’s Championship, Georgia Wrestling Alliance (GWA) Ladies Championship, TNT Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship, Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) Women’s Tag Team Championship, WEW World Championship, WEW World Tag Team Championship, and the WXW Women’s Championship.

Her championships held in TNA include the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship and the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Velvet Sky was in an actual and storyline relationship with Chris Sabin (Motor City Machine Guns) in TNA. She was also engaged to Bully Ray (f.k.a. Bubba Ray Dudley).
