Independent wrestler Charles Hutton, known professionally as Charlie Tiger, was arrested Monday after allegedly making threats at an IRS office in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, prompting an evacuation of the facility.
According to PWInsider, police responded to the IRS Colwick Office Park after receiving a report that “a male wearing a mask and carrying a backpack” had entered the building. Employees reported that Hutton, 24, made threatening statements, which led authorities to evacuate the premises “out of an abundance of caution.”
The Cherry Hill Courier-Post reported that Hutton’s charge of making terroristic threats was linked to a prior incident in which he allegedly told an IRS employee, “Kill the IRS.”
On Monday, officers located Hutton inside the Cherry Hill IRS office and determined he was unarmed. After securing the scene and searching the building, police allowed employees to return to work.
Hutton was charged with making terroristic threats related to the prior incident, as well as harassment. He was taken to Camden County Jail and later released on Tuesday afternoon.
Hutton is best known for competing on the independent wrestling circuit, particularly with Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), where he last wrestled in January.
