Wrestler Sycho Sid Vicious Dead at Age 63
Sidney Raymond Eudy (December 6, 1960–August 26, 2024) died at the age of 63 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Sid captured the WWF Championship twice during his tenure in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). He headlined WrestleMania VIII in 1992 and main-evented WrestleMania 13 in 1997.
In World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Sid secured the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice. He also claimed the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. He headlined Starrcade in 2000.
Sid accumulated several other accolades throughout his career. He won the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions. He held the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Championship alongside Shane Douglas. He competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling under the moniker "Vicious Warrior." He also had a brief tenure in World Class Championship Wrestling as "Sid Vicious."
