Zayda Steel Signs with AEW

Zayda Steel made her official All Elite Wrestling debut in January, following several years of work on the independent circuit in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Steel first appeared on AEW programming on the January 10 episode of Collision, where she was introduced on-screen alongside the SkyFlight group after an injury-related lineup change. One week later, on the January 17 edition of Collision, she made her in-ring debut against Marina Shafir in singles competition. Steel was defeated in the match.

After the bout, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Steel had signed with the company.

Before joining AEW, Zayda Steel competed regularly for independent promotions in the region, including MCW Pro Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling, along with other Northeast-based companies. Her work on those cards established her presence on the regional independent scene prior to her national television appearances.
